I would like to thank my friends, colleagues and well wishers for their support and help extended to the work of JK DAG over these years. Ever since JK DAG began its work in 2000 we were able to address the needs of Kashmir poor and marginalized population. Our desire is to provide them with overall comprehensive developmental care. JK DAG is an NGO; it is registered in J&K. This is governed by a governing body which provides logistical support and guidance to the running of the work. JK DAG firmly believes that all needy people in the community need to have access to holistic and sustained development help. JK DAG has initiated sustainable alternate income gathering programs, non- formal education programs, vocational training courses and spoken English training & personality development centre in Anatnag, Budgam, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Srinagar and Kupwara Districts.

Those who understood our vision have walked along with us and they can be classified as follows:
1. Individuals, who have burden for society and seek to help them.
2. Institutions/Organizations who are committed for the upliftment of the society.
3. Foundations, which are philanthropic in nature.

Our desire is to share our work among many of suffering people through this medium. It is my hope that this website will serve as a window to the world of our involvement with the lives of people in both rural and urban areas. We seek your support even as we do so, and for those who have the same vision; they are most warmly invited to be part of us, in this exciting and eventful journey.
